Epigastric Pain series 4 EXPERT COURSE [EE Case 16]

EE Case 16 (10mm slice): A 40-year-old female with a past history of abdominal hysterectomy for endometriosis six years ago. She developed epigastric pain in the previous morning, which was followed by nausea and vomiting in the afternoon. She presented to ER with gradually aggravating pain in the midnight. Body temperature: 35.9 degrees Celsius. Above the umbilicus, there was tenderness, but without rebound tenderness or muscle guarding. CT scan was obtained two hours after administering gastrografin from nasogastric tube. Fig.A is noncontrast CT corresponding to Fig.15.
