CT of Acute Abdomen

Epigastric Pain series 6 RESIDENT COURSE [ER Case 26]

A 69-year-old male with past histories of cholecystectomy for gallstone, prostatectomy for cancer, gastrectomy for cancer and nephrectomy for tumor in the past 10 years. His visit to the hospital was prompted by sudden onset of epigastric pain and nausea with gradual increment of pain for five hours. Temperature is 35.6 degrees Celsius. Abdomen was soft and tenderness in left upper quadrant was noticed but without rebound tenderness or muscle guarding.
