Epigastric Pain series 7 RESIDENT COURSE [ER Case 33]

ER Case 33 (10mm slice) A 69-year-old male with a past history of surgery for duodenal ulcer ten years ago, has been admitted to psychiatric hospital for schizophrenia. He developed epigastric pain and vomiting five hours prior to his transfer to ER due to findings in x-ray suggesting small bowel obstruction. Temperature: 36.5 degrees Celsius, abdomen was mildly distended, but soft without tenderness.
